The working papers of the Peace, Security and Defense Chair are academic studies or reports of research projects relevant to the objectives of the Chair and characterized by their high quality.
By publishing these papers the Chair undertakes the commitment to encourage research activities in a solvent manner, and contributes to the dissemination of original research studies on the different matters within the scope of the Chair.
The intent is to achieve two objectives: first, to provide institutions interested in the subject the results of research conducted by the authors; second, to facilitate the difference of opinion and stimulate discussion about the content of the research, so to improve its content and form.
The first page should include the title of the paper, author's name, academic references and email. The second page should contain an abstract (maximum 200 words) and keywords both in Spanish and English.
The work shall be submitted in electronic format without layout. As far as possible, the number of photographs maps, graphs, sketches and tables should be reduced to the bare minimum. Its length should not exceed 15,000 words, this including notes and bibliography. The notes shall be listed as footnotes while bibliography and sources shall appear at the end of work.
In order to ensure their quality and interest, working papers will undergo a process of anonymous assessment. Those interested in having their papers published should submit them to the following direction of the Chair: psyd@unizar.es
Authors will receive an acknowledgement for their work, as well as information on whether it has been accepted. If so, you may receive an assessment for making amendments, if any, before forwarding it back to the Chair. As soon as the working paper is published, the Chair will announce this fact to all its list of mail recipients.
